🚔 Drink Driving – Think Before You Drive

Officers are reminding motorists that drink driving remains one of the leading causes of serious and fatal collisions on our roads.

If you're planning a night out, make arrangements to get home safely: ✅ Use a taxi or public transport
✅ Arrange a designated driver
✅ Stay overnight if necessary

Even small amounts of alcohol can impair your judgement, reaction times and ability to drive safely. The consequences of drink driving can be devastating, leading to serious injury, loss of life, a criminal record, disqualification from driving and significant fines.

If you suspect someone is drink driving, please report it to police. In an emergency, or if a crime is in progress, call 999.
